The Lord’s Church was born out of the Winneba Road Congregation on 3rd June, 2001 under the name Iron-City Zone which later became Accra Road Congregation.

Worship started at Mary Star of the Sea School until the church moved to it’s own permanent place of worship at Amanfro on 29th May, 2011. The first meeting attendance was 50 adults and 42 children with some members coming from Winneba Road Congregation.

The first Minister was Evg. Kaakyire Ennin who supervised the Church for two (2) weeks. Evg. Foster Mante Dankwa took over from Kaakyire as Preacher till now. The Church started with seven (7) leaders.

Accra Road Church of Christ has, as at 2019 over 20 leaders in various Ministries (women, children, youth et cetera) to enhance growth and development of:
